Historic Fredericksburg Texas
and the hill country around it have become a final destination
for tourists and vacationing families from all fifty states
and many foreign countrys. Fredericksburg, in the heart
of the Texas hill country, is just a little over an hour
drive from San Antonio and Austin. It is known for its
great accommodations and is home to some of Texas' best
bed and breakfast and guest houses.
Fredericksburg also offers a unique shopping experience
with some of Texas' best specialty shops, restaurants
and attractions. Lukenbach, made famous by Willie Nelson,
Jerry Jeff Walker, and other country music greats, is
also just a few miles down the road. Four state parks
and several vinyards are also less than a leisurely half
hour drive away through the beautiful hill country. |
